This wine is released after about 30 months of ageing; anyway, more years of cellaring will contribute to develop both structure and complexity. Extremely rich and structured wine, we suggest to match it with roasted meats, stewed meats and aged cheeses. 88 POINT ON DECANTER 2016.

UVAGGIO: Sangiovese 90% , Canaiolo 5%, Merlot 5%
GRADO: 13,5%
WINE MAKING AND AGEING: From a through grape inspection and analysis, the best harvest period is established as being the end of September and the middle of October. The alchool fermentation takes place in steel tanks. The master blend of the wine was made and went in big barrels for a minimum of 18 months and then in small french oak for 12 months. The wine was bottled and aged in bottle for 12-18 months.
TASTING NOTES: On the palate full and round, with soft tannins and a long, fruity, peppery finish. Concentrated nose showing plum and berry character.
COLORE: Deep ruby red colour.
ABBINAMENTI: We suggest to match it with roasted meats, stewed meats and aged cheeses.
