The company's top wine, Tuscany igt Salvadori is an excellent example of expression of a territory using also international vines. Cabernet and Merlot grapes, strongly characterized by our terroir, give a wine particularly suitable for long aging in wood. This is a wine that contains the great enjoyment of an international blend and the power and charm of a unique territory.

UVAGGIO: 40% Sangiovese. 30% Cabernet. 30% Merlot. (Different percentages based on the years)
GRADO: 14,00% vol.
WINE MAKING AND AGEING: The alcoholic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature to allow a prolonged contact of the must with the skins. Malolactic fermentation occurs in November right after the alcoholic fermentation. Maturation is carried out for the first 10-12 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% one year old, followed by 6-8 months of bottle ageing.
TASTING NOTES: Ample and complex bouquet of berries (blackberries and blueberries), cacao and cinnamon. Full, harmonic body of palpable complexity, solid yet silky tannins and long lasting, pleasantly fruity aftertaste, consistent with its bouquet.
COLORE: Brilliant deep garnet colour with slight purple reflections.
ABBINAMENTI: First courses with wild game sauces, spicy roasted meats, stuffed cows, cabbages, seasoned cheeses and for those who want to dare ... dark chocolate.
TEMPERATURA DI SERVIZIO: 18-20 °C.
